Jace Wayland

So i did this drawing in February of Jace Wayland/Lightwood. I am a HUGE fan of The Mortal Instruments Series by Cassandra Clare. If you haven't read them, you should. They're really amazing!!
Okay so in my drawing, i tried to capture every important aspect of Jace.
First of all i have the rune tattoos or "marks" on his skin. I used the cover of City Of Bones to model the marks after.
I have the Morgenstern/Wayland ring on a chain around his neck.
The wings are i guess because of all the dreams Clary has of Jace with wings. Plus the fact that he has more angel blood than a normal shadowhunter so i figured it was important.
And then the only color i put in the drawing was the hair and eyes because in the story, Cassandra Clare constantly described his golden eyes and his blonde hair. I wanted to accentuate (sp?) his assets. lol
oh and then of course his famous quote:
"To love is to destroy, and to be loved is to be the one destroyed." i couldn't fit the whole thing so i just put the first part.
Oh and also dont mind the big yellow date in the middle of the picture. Since i dont have a scanner, i had to use my digital camera and the date appears on my pics lol oh well. Just ignore it.
